Facelift
As people age the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun and the stresses of daily life can be seen in their faces. Deep creases form; the jaw line grows slack; folds and fat deposits appear around the neck. There are many different types of facelift including a mini-lift, which may be done under local anaesthetic, as an outpatient and with a reduced recovery time. Distinguishing which type of facelift is best for each patient, is important and must be tailored to each person's needs and wishes. A facelift can "set back the clock". It can improve many of the signs of ageing. A facelift can be done along with other facial cosmetic procedures such as browlift, eyelid surgery, nose reshaping and chin reshaping. The best candidate for a facelift is one whose face & neck have begun to sag, but whose bone structure is strong and well-defined. it can make you look younger and enhance your self-confidence in the process. |
