Mini Facelift or "S" Lift

The best candidate for a Mini Facelift is someone showing the early signs of ageing (ie: development of jowls). It is performed as an outpatient or daycase. Its advantages include: (a) a shorter procedure time typically using local anaesthetic, (b) little bruising, (c) no need for general anaesthetic and (d) the scar is unobtrusive (hence it's alternative name the ā€œSā€ lift, describing the shape of the scar, which is much smaller - it is also known as the short scar facelift).

Avoiding anaesthetic costs and an expensive hospital stay makes it much less expensive and an attractive option for many people. It involves the minimum downtime with a return to normal activities/work of only a couple of days (therefore it is sometimes called the lunchtime facelift or the weekend facelift). A mini facelift can "set back the clock", improving the signs of ageing and is often combined with other facial rejuvenation cosmetic procedures.
